Gent by Honeywell's loop powered beams offer an ideal solution for detection in areas where standard point detection is not appropriate or where access is difficult.
Powered and controlled via the loop the beam leads alternatives in the industry with features such as one man alignment and commissioning with auto gain setting achieved with a simply once optimum alignment is set. Significant development effort has been invested to develop fire pattern recognition with significant immunity to interference from sunlight and inadvertent obscuration of the beam.
Maintenance of the beam is enhanced with a a key operated test feature which simulates the obscuration of the beam in a fire. The Gent loop powered beam is certified to EN54 parts 12 and 17.
