Gent 24 Network celebrates 10th anniversary
Added 01/01/2010
Since it was established in 2000, the Gent 24 network of system integrators has established itself as a badge of quality in the fire safety sector. Over the years Gent 24 has grown to include over 70 partners, with an enviable waiting list of distributors lining up to join the exclusive club.

The network was originally set up to give Gent the opportunity to go back to basics and concentrate on what we do best – designing and manufacturing fire safety systems. It also aimed to offer customers a competitive choice in terms of service provider, and genuine growth opportunities for distributors.

Ten years on, the network is going from strength to strength. Every Approved System Integrator (SI) has been trained and approved by Gent to design, install, commission and maintain our technology to the highest standards. This managed protocol approach delivers both freedom of choice and quality assurance for customers.

“I am really proud of what’s been achieved with Gent 24, and the success is mainly down to the close working relationships we have built with our SIs,” said Kevin Cooper, Strategic Development Manager for Honeywell Life Safety Systems (UK & Ireland). “The core team at Gent is still largely the same as it was 10 years ago, delivering the same personal service. The technical support, training and marketing assistance is unrivalled, and has led to prosperity for all.”

Today, Gent 24 includes 21 SIs that have been part of the network since the beginning – a true testament to just how commercially beneficial the network has been. Happy 10th anniversary and many thanks to: Allied Protection Limited, Cook Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, McGill, Swift Fire & Security, CAMALARMS, Fesco Systems, CDS, Titan Fire & Security, MULTIfire, Niscayah, Northern Security Alarms, TVF, FireSecurity, BTS, Wessex Fire & Security, Kingfisher Fire & Security, Scotshield Fire & Security, Sovereign Fire & Security and Cormeton.

Thanks also to all Gent 24 SIs who have made the network what it is today. Here’s to the next 10 years!
